Understanding Sounds: Knowing that the words we say are made up of small sounds called phonemes.
Connecting Sounds to Letters: Understanding how the 44 phonemes relate to the letters or letter groups (graphemes) used to represent them.
Syllable Patterns: Recognizing the specific patterns of vowels/sounds in six syllable types, which helps with skillful decoding.
Spelling Rules: Following the 10 secret codes that turn letter groups (graphemes) into correctly spelled words.
Reading Progress: Progressing from reading simple one-syllable words to confidently reading more complex words with unstressed syllables (schwa), prefixes, and suffixes.

Structured Literacy Therapy: Lexify™ is effective, fun, and affordable Orton-Gillingham tutoring. Your child's progress is monitored by a Dyslexia Specialist, and feedback and guidance is provided to parents.

What progress can I expect my child to make?

In the early stages of the course, your child will quickly learn to read over HALF of all the words we use every day! When Lexify™ is used consistently, and your child completes both the course and the independent games, you can anticipate a significant boost of one to two grade levels in reading, or even more!

How long will Lexify™ take to complete?

The time it takes to finish the course varies because every child is different. Your child can go at their own speed, but we suggest playing at least 3 games per pay, at least 4 days a week for continued growth.
