I offer two free dyslexia screenings for you to have your child do at home, and they are both highly effective.
They are both done at home on an app downloaded to a phone or tablet. One takes about 10-15 minutes and gives you instant results, and the longer dyslexia testing app takes about 45-60 minutes, and you'll receive a very detailed, helpful report in a few hours.
Children 7 years of age or older who have not previously received intensive dyslexia-appropriate reading instruction and who:
Find out in under 10 minutes if your child is at risk of having a reading disability, including dyslexia.
This app can identify specific reading problems and recommend a training program that will help your child develop fluent and automatic reading skills.
After completing the screening, please request a consultation to discuss your child’s reading challenges to see how we can help.
The NeuroLearning Dyslexia Screening Test App measures several key brain functions that underlie reading and spelling skills, and that work differently in individuals with dyslexia. It combines these measures with an assessment of current reading skills to determine the likelihood that your child is experiencing challenges at school related to dyslexia.
Though it is not an official evaluation or diagnosis, its nine subtests were designed to mirror an expert assessment. It measures four basic processing skills that contribute to dyslexia risk, and two reading achievement skills whose development lags in children with dyslexia. It is a useful tool, as it offers helpful insight, recommendations, and strategies based on the results.
