Dyslexia Tutors

Join the Team!

We provide live, online, one-to-one dyslexia tutoring to turn struggling readers into skilled readers and excited learners! 

Using evidence-based software, games, animations, video, online tools, and an at-home kit, we deliver customized, engaging, and effective reading therapy to children who have dyslexia or who are struggling readers due to skill gaps caused by Covid.

Are YOU an energetic and results-oriented educator who wants to positively impact a child's life?

What You'll Do

  • Provide dyslexia screening and discuss results with parents.  
  • Provide an initial language assessment.
  • Plan and deliver lively and engaging one-to-one, customized literacy instruction online via Zoom.
  • Monitor and adjust children's independent practice.
  • Provide parents with updates and feedback.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in education, special education, psychology or a related field
  • Two years of experience in structured literacy therapy or reading intervention, or a completed practicum of at least 100 hours of supervised clinical intervention for language/literacy disorders in a one-to-one therapeutic setting
  • Passion for teaching children to read and spell
  • Proven record of fostering student achievement and building confidence in an online setting
  • Sense of humor
  • Flexible mindset
  • Comfort with technology
  • Willingness to learn
  • Excellent organizational skills and work ethic.
  • Home office - a quiet, well lit, and organized space where you can work with your students via Zoom.
